there is no one in the business as kind as mr. darren criss.
when i finally got the courage to go down to him and ask him for a picture, he was already about to move onto the next section of people. but right before he did, he saw me waiting and said “I got you”, letting me know that he knew i was waiting and would get to me in a second. When he finally walked over to me, the security guards were giving him a hard time and trying to move him along.
So he looks up at the security guard and goes: “Man, this is the only time the fans have the chance to do this stuff. I can’t.” He then turns to me and goes “I’m just gonna be a dick and take this picture with you anyway.” He then proceeded to take as many pictures as he could with everyone, and stayed for quite some time.
The man is just as kind as everyone says he is.
I have emailed a bit with them and they are saying check-in is at 1:30. When I asked what time people could line up, they said 1:30. So either they are unprepared for the fortitude of fans with iron bladders or have security with sticks. We shall see and so - be forewarned. It…

JOHN GREEN WRITES TEEN FICTION STOP GLORIFYING/TREATING HIM AS SOME SORT OF LITERARY MESSIAH FOR GODS SAKE
I’m sorry but who are you to tell me or anyone else who we can or cannot glorify. I’m an almost 30 year old woman who enjoys his books, and enjoys them a lot. There is nothing wrong with well-written teen fiction, especially John Green’s.
This is the same type of elitist bullshit that I see come from people who adhere to the NY Times Book Reviews, which often will not review amazing books from authors who aren’t “literary.”
TL;DR: IF IT’S WELL WRITTEN, WHO GIVES A SHIT IF IT’S TEEN FICTION. IT’S FUCKING LITERATURE.

Read this. I’m upset, mainly by the lack of closure for certain characters (*coughKurtandBlainecough*) but this makes A LOT of sense and I can see Murphy being insane/egotistical (said with some respect here, I mean c’mon) to be like FUCK THE SYSTEM, I’M DOING THIS MY WAY.
